Aunjanue Ellis

Aunjanue Ellis Taylor, a American actor and stage actress and producer. She is most famous as a film actress for her work as a character in Ray Undercover Brother (Ray Undercover Brother) as well as The Mentalist. She has an BA in African-American Studies from Brown University as well as an MFA in acting from the Tisch School of the Arts New York University. Aunjanue Ellis is an actor, writer and actress working in the fields of theater, film, as well as television. She began her career as an actress in theatre but then proceeded to play in a variety of television series, including mainstream and independent films. She came to prominence as Miranda Shaw on ABC's Quantico as well as on BET's epic show The Book of Negroes for that she was not only rewarded with an acclaim from critics, but also won many nominations and awards, including the Television Critics Choice Award nomination for Best Actress in a Movie.
