Hallie Jackson
Hallie J. Jackson is a American journalist as well as a political analyst. Hallie is currently in charge of the primary NBC News correspondent covering the White House and an anchor on several news shows on NBC cable. She was born and raised in Pennsylvania and completed her bachelor's in political science at John Hopkins University. After working at a couple of TV stations in Maryland, Delaware and Connecticut (affiliated with CBS), Jackson moved into 'Hearst Corporation' and reported from Washington DC covering every one of their 26 stations. Then, she joined "NBC News" (in 2014), and for a period of time, she was employed by the 'NBC' station in Los Angeles. Her excellent reporting of different campaigning periods, including the presidential election in 2016, gained her the status of an devoted political correspondent. She is recognized as a hard-working and versatile reporter. A few of her biggest assignments have included coverage for the Presidential campaign of Senator Ted Cruz and exclusive interviews with prominent 'GOP' presidential candidates. Jackson became NBC's chief White House' reporter in 2017. She is married to Douglas Hitchner and is a mother to two daughters.
