Sara Eisen

SaraSara Aliza Eisen, an American television journalist, is currently working with CNBC. She is the co-anchor for the channel's shows "Squawk on the street" (Closing Bell) and 'Squawk in the Street' (CNBC). A native of Ohio native She was not interested in the markets and currencies when she was in college. While studying at New York University she interned with ForexTV.com. Her first exposure with business news through this internship. She then earned an advanced degree in broadcast journalism from Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University. After that, she did an internship of four months at Bloomberg TV in Hong Kong. She then returned to the US and started working in Bloomberg's New York office. Then, she became a anchor for a TV show. CNBC appointed her in December 2013 to be reporter. After being a co-anchor for "Worldwide Exchange" and Power Lunch', she was recruited by CNBC in December 2013. She was then offered the job at Closing Bell in the year 2018. Eisen anchors 'Squawk On The Street since the year 2014. Her primary focus since joining CNBC has been global news for consumers.
